Dr. Nicholas Grier to Speak at MLK Day Event at Willamette University
On Friday, January 21, 2022, at 7:00 PM PST, Dr. Nicholas Grier will be speaking at Willamette University’s MLK Day event. The lecture titled, “We Need Rest!,” will be focusing on the importance of rest in our lives and dismantling systems of oppression and circumstances that prevent people from resting, especially the marginalized and oppressed while nurturing systems and cultures that help people rest and have the power to reflect, imagine, re-imagine, and determine the course of their lives in the context of life-giving community.
